If the opposition is listening they will vote to Restore Workplace Rights

Posted on May 29, 2015

The union of public sector workers says the LNP’s review of the 2015 state election recognises the attack on the public service was a key cause of the Newman government’s election loss.

Together Secretary Alex Scott said today, “Today we are calling on the Queensland opposition to change their mind and support the Restoring Workplace Rights Bill.

“How the opposition votes on the Restoring Workplace Rights Bill will clearly show whether they are listening to the report or continuing down the anti-public service path that cost them the election.”

The LNP’s 2015 state election review was conducted by former Queensland Premier Rob Borbidge and former Queensland Deputy Premier Joan Sheldon.

The resulting report included an unpublished section.
