We are Together in Corrections
Together members in Corrections fight for better conditions at work. Union members know the way to win is working together.
Together members in Corrections work throughout the Custodial Corrections system, from Custodial Corrections Officers to Administration Officers.
Custodial Corrections Legal Insurance
Together members in custodial corrections have a long and proud history of working collectively to win improved pay and conditions. In times of trouble it’s good to know that union members are able to protect each other.
Members in Custodial Corrections made the decision to fund a group legal insurance policy to provide an added level of security and protection. Each year the Together corrections division takes out a group legal expense insurance policy funded by this levy.
In partnership with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, this policy provides members with funding to obtain legal advice and assistance in a range of circumstances – not just at work.

Together members have access to important industrial updates, advice and assistance on the issues that matter in their workplace and the broader public service in the Member Portal.
Unions always stand up for fairness, justice and making sure no one is left behind. In 2023, Together members are campaigning for constitutional recognition for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, and a voice on the laws and policies that affect them.
As a union member you are building a better life. In addition to help at work, members have access to a range of other membership benefits ranging from commercial offers to legal advice.
