Public sector workers speak out and the State Government listens

Thousands of public sector workers have emailed the Treasurer

As a direct result of thousands of public sector workers emailing the Treasurer demanding that he stop the delays in public sector bargaining negotiations, the State Government has approved a number of bargaining frameworks.

As a result of this move by the State Government workers do not need to continue to email the Treasurer as this stage of the campaign for better wages and conditions.

This does not mean they have agreed to your claims but now real negotiations can commence.

This is a win on process, but it again demonstrates that we are stronger together and that workers acting collectively can make change.

Now we need to win on the issues, not just the process.
