School Support Staff Recognition Week took place in June to recognise the outstanding contribution of school staff. The Theme for 2023 was Recognise, Respect, Celebrate. Members in schools received the first of their 4% pay increases under their collective agreement. Together President Sharon Abbott has been visiting schools to talk to members, in particular about the current schools resourcing review. She has also taken the opportunity to join in the celebrations of our support staff! Check out the celebrations on our Facebook page. You can still nominate someone for the QSuper School Support Staff Recognition Week Competition! Go to qsuper.qld.gov.au/supportweek to make your nomination. Nominations close on 4 August.
