Last month, nominations were sought for the offices of Together. Nominations were recently confirmed for uncontested positions.
All Senior Executive positions were elected unopposed:
- Branch President – Sharon Abbott
- Branch Senior Vice President – James Swan
- Branch Secretary – Alex Scott
- Branch Assistant Secretaries – Dee Spink & Michael Thomas
- Branch Treasurer – Paul O’Driscoll
- Branch Assistant Treasurer – Michele Bailey
- Branch Vice-President (Public Service Industry) – Lucy Besnard
- Branch Vice-President (Public Health Industry) – Michelle Byard
- Branch Vice-President (General Industry) – Erin Quinn
For members in Public Health Industry Sub-Division 6 (Townsville Hospital & Health Service) and in the Wide Bay Zone, there will be an election. The Australian Electoral Commission runs this process, and the Together office is unable to provide advice on the election process. Ballot papers have been posted and should reach members soon. If you have any questions about this election, please contact the AEC.
Once all Branch Conference Delegate elections have been declared, a full list of office-holders will be distributed.
