Your Union Membership Fees for the 2024/2025 Financial Year

As a union member you are helping to build better workplaces and better communities, across Queensland.

Congratulations - this work cannot succeed without your efforts to build a better union.

In the 2024/2025 financial year union fees will increase to support Together’s ability to campaign and win better wages and conditions. You can see the schedule of increased fees here.

For most members the increase will be 4%, in line with the wage increases that members in the public service have won through collective bargaining agreements.

Members who are Custodial Corrections Officers pay an insurance levy to fund a group legal insurance policy. In the 2024 financial year, this levy will not be increased and there will only be a $2 increase for the levy for professional indemnity insurance.

Remember that union fees are 100% tax-deductible! Keep an eye out for more information about how to access your summary of union fees for when you need to lodge your tax returns this year.
