Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Workforce (Queensland Health) Certified Agreement (No. 1) 2019

This new agreement covers Together members employed in the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders workforce in Queensland Health.  Together members covered by this agreement are covered by the Hospital and Health Service General Employees (Queensland Health) Award.

This agreement includes the development of a career pathing structure, professional development, extension of locality allowances, or Kinship recognition for bereavement leave.

Through union members getting together and using our strength in numbers, we have won a review to ensure we have a proper career path structure that recognises the work we do for our community every day.

Together members won the payment of the one off $1250 sign on bonus.
Together Union presents an opportunity to increase awareness of the  of diversity in Qld Heath by supporting innovative  and respectful communications from our Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander members.

Members will receive their 2.5% pay increase on 1 September 2021 then a pay increase of 2.5% on 1 February 2022
