Office of the Queensland Ombudsman Certified Agreement 2022

This agreement covers Together members employed by the Queensland Ombudsman.  Together covered by this agreement are currently not covered by an award.

Union members secured the first collective agreement after securing legislative change to allow for better conditions to be set out in a legally binding agreement.
Together members in the public service have won major improvements in conversion for temporary employees, a return to good employment security, strong consultation provisions and consistent pay rises.

Together members won the payment of the one off $1250 sign on bonus.
Union members win when we act collectively. Together, we can take action and bring our issues to light. The kinds of action we have used include work stoppages and rallies, and these actions along with consistent communication and organising means we can win when we are together.

Members will receive their next 2.5% increase on 1 November 2021 then a pay increase of 2.5% on 1 May 2022
