TAFE Queensland (TAFE Services Employees) Certified Agreement 2022

This agreement covers non-educational staff in TAFE Queensland. Together members covered by this agreement by the TAFE Queensland Award.

TAFE Services Members made improvements to their working life, seeing a new commitment to managing workloads, and establishment of a Temporary Employment Committee to ensure TAFE meets their requirements of providing a permanent workforce.
Together members are never alone, we support each other to improve our rights at work. Together members don’t face management alone through individual workplace matters.
Suz Gordon, Administration Officer, TAFE SkillsTech bracken Ridge
These changes did not just happen, we came together and used our collective power to ensure they did. We took action, signed petitions and stopped work to ensure our improvements were implemented.
Together members won the payment of the one off $1250 sign on bonus.
When workers join together we become a louder voice to actively stand up to support our team-mates for stronger rights. To unburden a team-mate of worry at a time of weighty change for them can sometimes mean the difference between falling over or making it through. Better rights aren’t handed out. They’re won through a dogged pursuit for what is fair at a table of EB negotiations.
Sally King, Compliance Facilitator (Quality), TAFE Queensland
Members will receive their 2.5% pay increase on 1 September 2021 then a pay increase of 2.5% on 1 February 2022
