On the hard days, what keeps me going is knowing that the work we do matters — that by showing up every day, we can help children, young people, and families get the outcomes they deserve.

But the truth is, the system doesn’t always make that easy. We can receive 200+ emails per day. Important information gets lost. And too often, we simply don’t have the right resources in the right places to do the good work we’re all here to do

That’s why our worker-led response to the Commission of Inquiry is so important — and why our union’s Raising Voices, Reforming the System campaign matters. We need to make sure the people inside the system — the ones doing the work — are heard.

We’re starting with a survey to gather your experiences and ideas to help inform our union's submission. Your input is valuable and crucial. Please take the time to share your ideas and your experiences.

Whether you’re a member or not, your voice matters.

If we can show the real story — that a healthy, safe, and supported workforce means better outcomes for children and families — then we can help fix the system for good.
