Doctors will start negotiations in 2022

Soon doctors working in Queensland Health will have an opportunity to win better conditions and a fair pay rise through a new Medical Officers Certified Agreement (MOCA6).

Through the public sector doctors' union, Together, public sector doctors have won important improvements to their working conditions such as clinical support time, safe fatigue provisions, and recognition of digital recall.

Bargaining is also an opportunity to fight for conditions as professionals that are good for patients – like the provisions in MOCA5 about safe and appropriate clinical space that Together doctors have recently used to force hospitals to provide oxygen and suction to beds.

Public sector doctors do incredibly important work providing care to Queenslanders. MOCA bargaining is an opportunity to win recognition and reward for that work. Through Together, you and your colleagues can win better conditions and a pay rise.

Together is a democratic union, so you and your colleagues decide the agenda going into bargaining. If you are not yet a Together member you can join here.

You and your colleagues will only be heard if you speak with one voice. If you wish to be involved in the campaign, you can complete the survey and indicate that you want to be more involved.
